The Virtual Production Surge: More Than Just Showreels
Social feeds are filling up with virtual production content at a faster rate than ever before. But it’s not just flashy showreels (which we tend to avoid in this round-up). Instead, we’re seeing more case studies, skillful shot breakdowns, and experiments—proof that VP is shifting from hype to practical execution.
At the same time, agencies are exploring branded content formats for their clients, recognising the power of structured storytelling. But many still lack awareness of what VP actually is. Too often, it’s seen as just a giant LED wall, rather than what it truly offers: real-time computer-generated environments that remove location constraints, reduce creative risk, and expand storytelling possibilities.
If agencies want to push the boundaries of branded content, VP isn’t just an option—it should be a core part of their creative toolkit. It allows for fast iteration, cost-effective production, and bold ideas that would be impossible or too risky using traditional methods.
