Discrimination involves unequal treatment or the denial/granting of benefits based on an individual's characteristic, affecting opportunities like promotions and equal pay.
Harassment includes any unwanted behavior creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment, manifesting through verbal, physical, or digital means, including bullying, derogatory comments, offensive materials, and endangering others' safety.
Workplace Harassment pertains to unwelcome conduct in a professional setting, including solicitations or advances by those in positions of power.

Sexual Harassment encompasses unwelcome sexual advances, conditional employment offers based on sexual favours, derogatory comments, unwelcome physical contact, and other sexually offensive behaviours.

Retaliation refers to adverse actions taken against individuals reporting or perceived as reporting policy violations related to discrimination or harassment.

SP recognises the unique creative nature of its members' work environments but asserts that creativity does not justify compromising individuals' safety or well-being.

SP is committed to ensuring a positive and respectful environment, holding its members to the highest standards. Any violation of this code not only diminishes the community and profession but may also result in loss of membership.

We urge all SP members to commit to this Code of Conduct, maintaining the honor and integrity of our community.
